Great steak again on my second visit here; got the filet, had excellently seasoned char and cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was very good. Service was excellent. Dining room was super loud, annoyingly loud with the table of 20 guys behind us. Mac n cheese was ok.

Classy place with attentive staff. Food was fantastic. A little spendy compared to other high end steakhouses I've experienced. Was entertaining clients and was taken aback when the bill came and my Waygu was $24 per oz when the menu stated this evening was $24 per 2oz. I did not say anything as I wanted to be discreet with our clients but was disappointed. Location is good and sides were delicious

The ambiance was good and the food was good. Even though the night was busy on new year eve the waiter was very calm and kind enough to take care of us. Really liked their Caesar salad and the drinks were strong and amazing. Perfect for a date night or celebrate your anniversary.

Amazing dinner from beginning to end! They were very accommodating with our large party of 14. Everyone started with cocktails and the chef sent out an amuse bouche. A wonderful tutorial about the differences of the steaks was really informative. Then delicious appetizers 2 each: Seafood Tower ($125), Mini Crab Cakes ($24) and Pork Belly ($16). I'm not a big steak eater so I got a Wedge Salad ($13) and French Onion Soup ($16). Got to share sides like the Mac n Cheese ($15) and Pomme Paillasson Potatoes ($14) Then I tried some Filet ($58) and the Dry Aged Delmonico ($76) from my friends. The Delmonico is definitely the way you want to go on this, no comparison. The entire evening was so leisurely and elegant. No rush at all, I couldn't believe we were there until 11pm. It wasn't until later I found out this is the only woman owned steakhouse in Chicago, very cool.

6:00 on a Friday, service was great! Very attentive staff, food timing was perfect. Food was also fantastic. Highlight for me was sharing a 2oz wagyu as an app. My 18 year old son said the shrimp Caesar salad was his highlight. Just a block away to enjoy a walk by the river after dinner.

Soo.. this is a very rare time where I'm a bit conflicted on how to rate a restaurant. I'm giving 4 stars bc I tasted my friend's steak and it was delicious. It's a steakhouse. Of course the steak Should be amazing. Also the chef gave our table a lil treat (forgot what it was).. all of us loved our drinks and the waiter was great. So there are reasons why I want to give a high rating. I had a great time (mainly bc of the people I came with) Why this is not 5 stars.. my salmon could have been seasoned more. Much more. I was trying to really soak it in the sauce that it came with to get more flavor but there really wasn't much of that either. For a side, I originally ordered their version of au gratin potatoes. Their's really was just a 'liquidy' soup with small round potatoes in it with baked cheese on top (cheese seemed to have been just hovering over the bowl tho.. like the potatoes didn't actually have cheese on them). Wasn't really a fan of that. So me and a friend split a lobster risotto. At first taste, it was really good. Then.. idk. Just go for the steak

Amazing tasting menu! Every single dish was so tasty and portions were generous - we were stuffed by the time we finished Highlight was the wet-aged filet - meat was so tender and juicy, cooked to a perfect medium and the carrot purée was to die for! Our server was not lying when he said we'd want to eat it by the bowls after trying it The scallop in the seafood trio was also spectacular. It was extremely plump and juicy and I didn't even need a knife to cut it through I really enjoyed the dry aged New York as well - it was great to have been able to taste dry-aged and wet-aged steaks one after the other to really understand the nuances in flavor/texture/chewiness Fantastic experience and honestly pretty underrated! (Ambiance was good but a little too dark for my personal preference)

I went to dinner at Kinzie Chophouse and everything I had was great! I was with a large group and we were seated in their private room which was really. To drink I had the Charred Pineapple Margarita. It tasted very fresh and had a hint of spice and smoke. Our waiter recommended the drink and it was a great choice. For starters I had a couple East Coast Oysters. They were very flavorful. I don't eat alot of red meat, so I never get steak at steakhouses. For my entree I got the Grilled Greek Salad and the "South Vide" Octopus on the Grill. Both were fantastic! This was my first grilled Greek salad before so I didn't really know what to expect, but it was great. Since the tomatoes were grilled the feta almost melted into the salad. The octopus was grilled to perfection and served over flavorful black eyed peas. This is a fabulous women-owned steakhouse and I can't wait to go back!
